Prague's iconic Old Town Square is an incredible showcase of architecture through history, and may just be a great way to show off your knowledge. If nothing else, the view alone is a fantastic way to spark conversations or inspire people to consider some of the less clichéd travel destinations!
And really, no trip to Prague, Czechia is complete without a visit to the top of the Old Town Hall Tower, which houses Prague's famous Astronomical Clock.
Whilst I'm very used to modern architecture, coming from London as I do, there's a beauty to historical architecture - and pretty much every wave of Prague's architectural history can be seen in its Old Town Square.
In particular, the Church of Our Lady before Týn, the taller building seen slightly to the right of this photo, is an incredible example of 14th century gothic architecture.
