This view across the Thames showcases London's amazing skyline and energy even in the dead of night. It's brilliant for creating a modern yet elegant atmosphere, especially if you're looking for something that'll make guests look twice.
This is another from my 'long-exposure shots of London at night' collections.
I set up the tripod near the staircase to the north-side of London bridge and pointed my camera at the Shard. The photo took about 10 seconds per attempt, but it took a while to get a whole shot where no one walked up or down the staircase in that time!
The Shard in London is an incredible building to take photos of at night. I do also love the way the River Thames looks in long exposure shots.
