This photo's story

In a week where London had been getting some extremely colourful sunsets, I thought I'd try my luck with some street photography.

And it paid off!

I was walking across Tower Bridge when, as the sun started setting, the skies turns all manner of incredibly vibrant colours. The bridge opened up to let the boats through, creating this absolutely breathtaking view of London.

It's not often you see people rushing to one side of the road to admire a landscape, but this one had everyone enamoured, myself included.

It was brief, unscheduled, and the kind of moment shaped entirely by timing; lingering because it can never be repeated.
