Years ago, I was in Venice a while back attending a scientific conference.
Naturally, I had to see the whole town. I might have gone over the Rialto Bridge in Venice a hundred odd times over a long weekend, but on one occasion on the way to find a place for dinner, we noticed this incredible view where everything lined up - the warmth of the city, the beautiful colours of the buildings, the incredible sunset, even a gondola heading past at seemingly the perfect moment.
This one's a terrific example of "right place, right time"!
